Biography:

Peter Quill, known as Star-Lord, is a prominent character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Born to Meredith Quill and Ego, a Celestial being, Peter was abducted from Earth by Yondu Udonta's Ravagers shortly after his mother's death in 1988. Raised amongst the Ravagers, he became a skilled thief and smuggler.

Star-Lord's MCU debut was in the 2014 film Guardians of the Galaxy. He leads the team of the same name, which includes Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. He played a crucial role in Avengers: Infinity War, where his emotional reaction to Gamora's death inadvertently contributed to Thanos' victory.
